ARK's humble beginnings were in genome editing and gene delivery, though it has become a government-funded facility for the development of splicing genes for military purposes. Not much is known about the specific goals of the facility from the outside, though internally their tests mostly involve mutating human beings into war machines.

Quill, Incorporated is a transplant giant that even lab-creates healthy organs if the price can be paid. Their business is top of the line, going so far as being able to 3D print completely new organs if the demand is high enough from the patient. It is an expensive field, but they have affordable plans to cater to almost anyone who is in need. So long as you pay in time, of course.

Led by the outline of a man named Benedict Vinter. All of the major thirteen are involved in different industries under the pretense that they'll be able to help each other with all of their resources. Unfortunately, with the birthright heirarchy within the group, they just see each other as targets to overcome in order to gain more power.

One of the oldest and most respected criminal organizations in the area. They don't like to involve civilians when possible, and stay out of other peoples' business. Recently, though, the former kingpin, Omar Pratt, was found murdered. This has thrown the group into a state of disarray, and it doesn't help that Omar's son, Misha, is trying to escape the responsibilities.
